Brinson Staniland Partnership is a practice of low carbon consulting engineers specialising in mechanical, electrical and public health systems for the built environment. We are Exor accredited and proud to be consistently listed in the Top 100 Engineers by Building Magazine. We are certified Low Carbon Consultants (LCCs) and Low Carbon Energy Assessors (LCEAs).
Our practice experience encompasses a broad base of construction works both in the UK and overseas. Our projects range from small works, with a value of a few thousand pounds, to high profile projects with multi-million pound budgets.
The majority of our Engineers are Chartered and we actively support and encourage all our Engineers to achieve this status. We are also committed to training and personal improvement to enable engineers to thrive and reach their goals and provide excellence to our clients.
Our practice is based in Bromley, Kent and we have the latest in engineering software including REVIT MEP, AutoCAD, Bentley Hevacomp and IES.
In over 15 years, our practice has built up a portfolio of major clients from many sectors. We pride ourselves on establishing long term relationships with them, working on projects that include: Commercial, Education, Industrial, Financial, Hotels/Leisure, Health, Places of Worship, Pharmaceutical and Residential property.Global Responsibility
As well as designing sustainable systems, we actively encourage low carbon living. Many of our engineers are locally based and walk or cycle to our office. For meetings and site inspections, we have a policy of using public transport. In our office, we recycle all materials and have a policy of using Fairtrade products.

Patrick has worked for two large M & E consulting engineers before setting up the business. He manages the current consultancy frameworks we are engaged on and supervises the QA system for the practice. Patrick has a wealth of experience in various project sectors but has a particular interest in energy management and lighting design.
BSc (Hons) MSc CEng MCIBSE MIMecE
James has worked for several international consulting engineers both in Britain and overseas. He is responsible for expanding the energy side of the practice using Dynamic Thermal Modeling (DTM) software. James regularly presents tutorials on current and new topics within our industry.
